Built in 1766, in a wooded grove near Boulogne-sur-Mer, the Hotel Clery is an outstanding example of 18th century romantic architecture set in a 12 acre park and it is the bourgeois residence where General Berthier stayed while the town was under siege from Napoleon. The hotel is located 10 km from Boulogne-sur-Mer, France's largest fishing port and offers 27 tastefully decorated rooms located either in the Chateau, in cottages or in a small farmhouse, all situated on the private grounds.

The hotel also offers the superb gourmet restaurant "Le Berthier", which has made a name for itself in the surrounding area of its gourmet delights and its elegant settings.
